Environmental and Geotechnical Services, LLC ("EGS") is a consulting firm located in Fairfield, Essex County, New Jersey. We offer a broad range of environmental services including site remediation using traditional technologies as well as innovative technologies for cost-effective solutions.

Established in 2007, EGS has a staff that includes experienced environmental professionals. The project management team includes a professional geologist and Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP), geologist, and environmental scientist. EGS also has an AutoCAD department for professional presentation of drawings and GIS-compliant maps. All personnel are OSHA-certified for hazardous waste operations. EGS has partnerships with established construction and drilling contractors to assist in the timely completion of projects.

Our firm handles LSRP cases of many types including underground storage tanks (USTs), ISRA, child-care centers, and many other spill cases. We are certified by the NJDEP to perform underground storage tank (UST) closure and subsurface evaluation to address residential heating oil UST cases. EGS also performs due-diligence investigations such as phase-I and phase-II site assessments for either buyer or seller of real estate.
